If you google top locations to shoot at in San Francisco these two locations would pop up, Sutro Baths and Baker beach; my  tip would be: Shoot at Sunrise when there is nobody around. The lighting was perfectly soft with all the fog rolling in off the bay.

I had the pleasure of taking photos of Lauren & Illya, Lauren just so happens to be a photographer as well! I posted on my Instagram that I was heading to San Francisco and wanted to photograph a couple while I was there. A client of mine in New York messaged saying she knew the PERFECT couple; hence how I met Lauren & Illya! We decided to do a sunrise session & it honestly didn’t disappoint one bit. The beach was empty of people which is rare in SF. Also, Lauren & Illya showed up on a VESPA, so of course I had to do photos of them on their vespa!

Lauren told me that one of her favorite places was the Sutro baths, which was on my list to see.  Luckily it was a short drive from Bakers Beach, which is how I got that vespa shot of them driving 😉 Felt like I was in a Hollywood movie hanging halfway out of the car trying to get the best shot.

Each place I travel to, I always try to someone whether that be a couple, family or an individual to take photos of. I love documenting different people in different places. In June I’m heading out on another adventure to Portugal, France & England. I can’t wait to meet up with people I’ve met through Social Media and take photos of them in these awesome locations!
