"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."
I am passionate about many things in life, a few are -- food, travel, art, coffee and good books. When traveling I love walking around aimlessly just taking in the beauty of wherever I am, I love finding beauty in all things. Coffee is basically apart of my DNA, I look forward to my morning coffee everyday and sometimes an afternoon pick-me-up.
I enjoy cooking and baking, creating things that are a little challenging (thanks Great British Baking Show) just to see if I can do it. I love baking desserts such as tarts, cookies, cinnamon rolls and yummy foccia bread.
I love shooting film because its timeless -- its a format that I have a passion for and love dearly. I grew up looking at 35mm slides of my Grandparents life, their photos are still in style even from 60 years ago. They have aged, but their photographs remain unchanged -- I want the same for my clients. Memories etched on film for forever.
A few things I can't live without: Coffee, tacos, books, cookies and baths!
Whether I'm traveling to Scotland, the coast of California or to New York; traveling is something that feeds my soul like nothing else. When I have a chance to travel abroad you can find me at street cafe drinking a cafe au lait, taking photos of all the architecture, or chatting with strangers, running through open fields, going back on back roads - just getting lost. If you love to travel, send me an email with your favorite place & favorite cafe! I'll just be over here dreaming up my next trip!
Every time I drive by an open field, I always envision my clients hand & hand walking through the golden grass, with the sun slowly setting, the emanate golden sky. I live for these moments, I crave these moments.
Sometimes its just nice to let down your hair and just run through an open field to let your mind release itself, soak in the fresh air. This is why I live for open fields.
When I was younger my Grandparents would put a dollop of frozen whip cream in a coffee cup with a splash of coffee...ever since then I've been hooked. Plus I thought I looked super cool drinking "coffee" like the adults. So you could say my Grandparents started my addiction at the age of 6.
Now that I'm an adult I just drink my coffee with a little cream & no sugar!
When I'm in Europe I prefer a cappuccino or a cafe au lait. European coffee is the best:)
I live for street photography. I love taking a random persons photo whether they see me and smile or they are simply in their own world. I think about these peoples stories. Each person I take a photo of, their face is engrained in my mind. Something about them caught my eye, maybe it was the outfit they were wearing, maybe its the instrument they were playing, or maybe it was the composition. There are so many things that can play into this, but one thing that connects it all together is, that moment in time is captured and made into a photo. A moment that is etched onto film.
