Cliff & Valerie say “I DO”

Where do I even begin?! I had been looking forward to Cliff & Valerie’s wedding since the day they got engaged! I, fortunately, got to be apart of each stage leading up to the wedding. It all started in January 2017 in Austin, Texas when Cliff asked me to photograph him proposing to Valerie, next we ended up doing 2 engagement sessions, Valerie’s bridals and ending with their wedding December 30th, 2017.

I’m so thankful that Cliff & Valerie asked me to be apart of their journey. I’m even more thankful for the friendship we have created, they are lifelong friends and “clients”. I cannot wait for the next part of their journey, you better believe I’ll be right there!

Their wedding was held at Kendall Plantation in Boerne, Texas. It seriously was a GORGEOUS day out, we were so lucky, originally the weather was supposed to be cold a rainy. Thank you, Jesus, that it wasn’t! Pretty sure I prayed away the bad weather lol.

After the ceremony, the team of us went out to catch light, then we came across a huge oak tree (see below). I knew it was the perfect spot for their romantic bride & groom shots. An oak tree symbolized so much in Cliff & Valerie’s relationship. Cliff first told Valerie “I love you” under the Century Oak tree in College station. It was like a throwback from where they began to where they are now, married. I love adding details that symbolizes something to a couple and incorporating it into their portraits, keeping a detailed moment in tangible form.
