Enchanting Bridal

Can I be honest for a minute? I almost wanted to quit photography…gasp! I know I’m crazy right? I had felt uninspired and just burnt out, pushing my personal projects to the back burner. As a photographer I feel like we often push our own ideas and projects to the back burner to make money. I get it, I want to make money to! But If you don’t take time for yourself to create your own vision/project, how can we be good for our clients? It’s SO important to take time away from your business to do a personal project so we are always fresh minded so we can deliver the absolute best for our clients. Also, take time away from your business to just veg out, go on a hike, ice cream run; its good for the soul:)

I had been planning this shoot in my mind for so long but just pushed my personal project to the side. It was so worth the wait! The weather was AMAZING, we somehow got lucky with 80 degree weather, nice breeze and empty park!

When I met my beautiful friend Naihla, I just knew I needed her to model for one of my shoots. SO glad her schedule allowed us to do so. She is super awesome and super photogenic.

Big huge thank you to Liv & Love Bridal for bringing out two BEAUTIFUL gowns. If you newly engaged and looking for a wedding dress & tux’s they are located 25035 Interstate 10 W, #102, San Antonio, TX 78257.

Another huge thank you to Nicolette with Lazywood Lane -Fine Paper & Calligraphy,  for the amazing invitation suite! Her work is absolutely gorgeous and I’m obsessed with her work. Check her out on instagram @Lazywoodlane

Lots of love,

-Al
